AN ACT CONCERNING A LEADERSHIP ACADEMY FOR SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS AND PRINCIPALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. Section 10-4q of the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (d) as follows (Effective July 1, 2007):

(NEW) (d) The Department of Education shall, within available appropriations, establish within the State Education Resource Center a leadership academy for school superintendents and principals.


This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	July 1, 2007	10-4q

Statement of Purpose:

To establish a leadership academy for school superintendents and principals within the State Education Resource Center.
