AN ACT CONCERNING CAPTIVE ELEPHANTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 490 of the general statutes be amended to provide minimum standards of care of captive elephants in order to eliminate mistreatment of such captive elephants.

Statement of Purpose:

To eliminate the mistreatment of captive elephants.
