AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE AND SALE OF LEAD WEIGHTS FOR SPORT FISHING.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use and sale of lead weights for sport fishing in the inland and marine districts.

Statement of Purpose:

To reduce the incidence of lead exposure to humans, fish and birds.
