AN ACT CONCERNING THE OPERATION OF WOOD STOVES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 446c of the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to regulate minimum stack height and frequency of operation of wood stoves.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect the health of neighbors afflicted by wood stove emissions that enter their homes from adjacent properties.
