AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCOME TAX CREDIT FOR THE PURCHASE OF COMPACT FLUORESCENT BULBS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 229 of the general statutes be amended to provide a ten-dollar credit against the state income tax for the purchase of not less than one six-pack of compact fluorescent bulbs of a wattage not less than forty watts or more than one hundred watts.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage conservation of electricity resources.
