AN ACT CONCERNING A PILOT PROJECT FOR BANKING AND FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN HARTFORD SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the banking industry or credit union industry reinstate banking and financial education in middle school or high school in Hartford as a pilot project.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a service that is needed to teach asset building and financial training to inner city youth to prepare for the world of work and life.
