AN ACT CONCERNING THE REORGANIZATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to reorganize the Department of Transportation by establishing the Department of Roads and Bridges and the Connecticut Mass Transit Authority.

Statement of Purpose:

To strengthen transportation in the state and support job growth by reorganizing the Department of Transportation.
