AN ACT CONCERNING THE SALES TAX EXEMPTION FOR RESIDENTIAL WEATHERIZATION PRODUCTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to extend the expiration date of the sales tax exemption for residential weatherization and energy efficiency products for one year, from July 1, 2007, to June 30, 2008.

Statement of Purpose:

To encourage consumers to improve energy efficiency in their homes.
