After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2007) (a) Any owner of real property upon which hunting or shooting sports regularly take place may enter the location of such property on a list maintained by the town clerk of any town within which such property is located. Each entry shall include the name of the owner, the address of the subject property, the corresponding map, block and lot number, and the owner's signature and date of entry.

(b) Each town clerk shall maintain a list of properties disclosed pursuant to subsection (a) of this section and shall make such list available to the public for inspection. A notice of the availability of the list shall be posted in the office of the town clerk in the area where the municipal land records are kept.

(c) Nothing in this section shall be construed to impose liability on the owner of property upon which hunting or shooting sports take place for failing to enter the property on such list.

Sec. 502. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2007) (a) With respect to a contract for the sale of a one-to-four family residential real property, if the seller provides written notice to the purchaser, prior to, or upon, entering into the contract, that a list of local properties upon which hunting or shooting sports regularly take place may be available at the office of the town clerk, the seller and any real estate licensee shall be deemed to have fully satisfied any duty to disclose the presence of local properties upon which hunting or shooting sports regularly take place, even if (1) the list is not available at the office of the town clerk, or (2) there is an error, omission or inaccuracy in the list.

(b) Nothing in this section shall be construed to impose liability on a seller or real estate licensee for failing to disclose the existence of properties upon which hunting or shooting sports regularly take place.

(c) No seller or real estate licensee shall be required to compile, or contribute to the compilation of, in whole or in part, the list of properties upon which hunting or shooting sports regularly take place. "
