"AN ACT CONCERNING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. (Effective October 1, 2006) (a) The sum of one million dollars is appropriated to the Department of Public Safety, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2007, for the Division of State Police, for the purpose of funding the state-wide firearms trafficking task force established pursuant to section 29-38e of the general statutes.

(b) The sum of one million dollars is appropriated to the Department of Public Safety, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, for the Division of State Police, for the purpose of funding the state-wide firearms trafficking task force established pursuant to section 29-38e of the general statutes. "
