"AN ACT CONCERNING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. Subdivision (1) of subsection (a) of section 53-202a of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2006):
