Explanation

This amendment results in a revenue gain to the State Technical High Schools and local and regional school districts by limiting the prohibition of certain beverages being provided in schools to students in grades pre-kindergarten to eight. The revenue gain would range from minimal to significant as districts currently have varying policies and revenue from beverages and food sales.

The preceding Fiscal Impact statement is prepared for the benefit of the members of the General Assembly, solely for the purposes of information, summarization and explanation and does not represent the intent of the General Assembly or either House thereof for any purpose.
