Title: AN ACT CONCERNING MATCHING FUNDS FOR DONATIONS TO THE ENDOWMENT FUNDS OF THE CONSTITUENT UNITS.

Statement of Purpose: To require the Department of Higher Education to match commitments made by donors during the period from January 1, 2005, to June 30, 2005, to make endowment fund eligible gifts to the endowment funds of the constituent units in an amount equal to one-half of the total amount of endowment fund eligible gifts received through the commitment.
