REASONS FOR BILL:
To make technical changes to the statutes concerning the registration of new home construction contractors.

The HBA of Connecticut supports the technical changes in SB-172. He offered substitute language for Sec. 20-417d (a)-(c). It was requested that, “…the numerical number of references and the requirements for a contract provision concerning customers opting off the list be deleted.” Oral and written testimony.
