AN ACT CONCERNING REVISIONS TO PROVISIONS AFFECTING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES.
SPONSORS OF BILL:

REASONS FOR BILL:
This proposed legislation reinstates language confirming the authority of electric distribution companies to undertake activities necessary to meet their public service obligations to serve customers. The bill would also exclude substation projects for Section 16a-7 and 16-50l of the General Statutes provided that the substation is not part of a transmission line project that would be covered by these sections.
