"AN ACT CONCERNING GAMING PRODUCTS AND RAFFLE PRIZES. "

After the last section, add the following and renumber sections and internal references accordingly:

"Sec. 501. Section 7-185a of the 2006 supplement to the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (h) as follows (Effective October 1, 2006):

(NEW) (h) Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 7-170 to 7-186, inclusive, and the regulations adopted pursuant to sections 7-170 to 7-186, inclusive, any volunteer fire department may apply for and receive a permit to operate "money-wheel" games at annual fund raising events. "
