AN ACT REQUIRING PRESCRIPTION DRUG LABELS IDENTIFYING GENERIC DRUG PRODUCTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that, when a pharmacist substitutes a generic drug product for a prescribed drug product, the pharmacist shall clearly label the prescription container with the generic name of the drug product along with the name of the drug manufacturer.
