AN ACT CONCERNING THE BAN OF POLYBROMINATED DIPHENYL ETHERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to ban polybrominated diphenyl ethers not later than January 1, 2008.

Statement of Purpose:

To ban certain chemicals that are suspected of contributing to attention deficit disorder, learning disorders and hyperactivity in children.
