AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MILITARY FAMILY RELIEF FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That a Military Family Relief Fund be established in the state and be based on a program established by the state of Illinois. Said fund would supplement the income of the families of citizen soldiers and could also assist in making the homes of soldiers injured in the line of duty and disabled accessible upon returning home. It is further proposed that the Military Family Relief Fund be supported by a voluntary check-off box allowing taxpayers to contribute to the fund from their income tax return.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a Military Family Relief Fund in the state allowing taxpayers to contribute to said fund from their income tax return through a check-off box.
