AN ACT CONCERNING ADVERTISING AND TOURISM DISTRICT MEMBERSHIP FOR TOURISM-RELATED BUSINESSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require that a tourism-related business be permitted to advertise through tourism districts other than the tourism district in which the business is located, (2) require that the price charged for such advertising be limited to the costs to any such tourism district for the advertising, and (3) allow a tourism-related business to join tourism districts other than the one in which it is located.
Statement of Purpose:
To facilitate broader advertising of available tourism services.
