AN ACT CONCERNING DISCLOSURE OF CLINICAL TRIAL RESULTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit institutional review boards at state hospitals and universities from approving clinical trials, unless (1) the results will be made available to physicians and the public, and (2) the trial will be registered with the National Institutes of Health for inclusion in its online database of clinical trials.

Statement of Purpose:

To make clinical trial results available to the public.
