AN ACT PROHIBITING PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES IN THE MAKING OF HOME LOANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That Part IXa of chapter 669 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit predatory lending practices in the making of home loans.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect the equity and property of homeowners in the state, to provide necessary consumer protection and to safeguard the economic vitality of the state.
