AN ACT REQUIRING UNITARY FILING BY CORPORATIONS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require that corporations use the unitary filing method when filing their business taxes.

Statement of Purpose:

To make sham transactions between a corporate parent and a subsidiary that have no economic benefit ineffective, and to provide a more accurate picture of a corporation's activities.
