AN ACT CONCERNING HYBRID VEHICLES IN HIGH OCCUPANCY VEHICLE LANES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to allow single-occupant vehicles that utilize hybrid technology to use high occupancy vehicle lanes on state highways.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow individuals who buy fuel efficient vehicles to use high occupancy vehicle lanes.
