AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC DISCLOSURE OF CLINICAL TRIAL RESULTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit institutional review boards from approving a clinical trial, unless (1) the results of the clinical trial will be made available to physicians and the public, and (2) the trial will be registered with the National Institutes of Health for inclusion in its online database of clinical trials.

Statement of Purpose:

To make information about the results of clinical trials available to the public.
