AN ACT MAKING CERTAIN CORPORATE TAX RETURNS PUBLIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that the state tax filings of corporations with annual gross receipts of over one million dollars would be made public information, enabling anyone to see how particular corporations calculate their tax liability, including income, costs, deductions and credits.
Statement of Purpose:
To make corporate tax filing, other than business corporations, public information.
