AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION HEARINGS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to require that employees personally appear at any unemployment compensation hearing and that no such hearing may be cancelled more than twice.

Statement of Purpose:

To limit the inconvenience to employers appearing at cancelled unemployment compensation hearings.
