AN ACT CONCERNING UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN MILITARY SPOUSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to provide benefits to an individual who voluntarily leaves a position when relocating if the reason for the relocation is the individual's spouse is in the military and is reassigned or transferred.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide unemployment benefits to spouses of active duty military personnel who are forced to quit their jobs due to the reassignment or transfer of the active duty spouse.
