According to the UConn’s Office of Governmental Relations, there are 32 dormitories on the Storrs campus that are completely dry. The total capacity of these dormitories is 3,289. In addition, UConn sets aside one floor in Brock Hall and one in MacMahon Hall as substance free floors. They accommodate 87 students who agree not to use alcohol, nicotine, or other drugs as part of their residence contract.
