AN ACT CONCERNING EXPENDITURES FOR THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF THE STATE.

SUMMARY:

This bill requires the Secretary of the State to review the functions and activities of the office of the Secretary of the State to evaluate their effectiveness and assign priority for continued funding. The secretary shall submit findings and recommendations not later than January 1, 2004 and annually thereafter to the joint standing committee having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations and the budgets of state agencies.
