
Substitute Senate Bill No. 352
AN ACT CONCERNING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE FEDERAL GRAMM-LEACH-BLILEY ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Insurance Commissioner may adopt regulations, in accordance with chapter 54 of the general statutes, to establish security and privacy standards consistent with Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Modernization Act of 1999, Public Law 106-102 (15 USC 6801, et seq. ). Such regulations may be made applicable to any person regulated under title 38a of the general statutes.
