Sec. 2-105. Permanent employees and records of Inspector General transferred to Attorney General. (a) Each permanent employee of the Inspector General on August 31, 1987, shall be transferred to the office of the Attorney General (1) without competitive examination and (2) in the nearest equivalent position classification, as determined by the Commissioner of Administrative Services, as the position classification held by such employee on such date.
(b) All records of the Office of the Inspector General, including records of investigations pending on September 1, 1987, shall be transferred to the Attorney General.
